These opaque glass rounds are 20mm in diameter and 6mm thick. They have a flat base, slightly rounded surface and flat sides. Each one is uniform in shape and size. Each assortment includes gloss and iridescent finishes.
These tiles are made in Turkey by experienced glass artisans who saw the opportunity for beautiful mosaic tiles in a pile of broken glass from a nearby window pane company. This is recycling at its finest.
The factory crushes the window glass to a fine powder and adds natural oxides to create beautiful colours, reminiscent of the vibrant colours of Istanbul textiles and Turkish tiles that have been admired for centuries.
